Publish a Java JNLP App

Uwe Meyer

Question

Hi,

is there a good way to publish a JNLP Application?

I have a link http://xxx.xxx.xxx that i published via Internet Explorer.

After start the Link will download a JNLP File and create some Files. After that an application will start.

Can i start the Application directly without download a JNLP File?

The Shortcut for the Application - if the App is installed on a Desktop is:

"C:\Program File (x86)\Java\jre1.8.0_73\bin\javaws.exe" -localfile -J-Djnlp.application.href=http://xxx.xxx.xxx:80/xxx/xxx.jnlp "C:\Users\TestUser\AppData\LocalLow\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\6.0\........"

When i start the Link without the Cache Path it isn't started.

So..how can i create a Published App for all Users to work with the App?

Regards
