Remote Assistance via Director

I'm currently having an issue working out how to provide remote assistance to my support staff


if I log onto director on the server it is installed on it can connect to any session running on either of the load balanced xenapp7.6 servers 




if I connect up to director from my network it doesn't connect - Windows remote assistance opens but eventually errors with a remote assistance cant make the connection. 


I see the msra.exe application running under the users process but they dont get anything - if i try a a second time i actually get a message on the clients session stating 


someone is offering you remote assistance but you have a remote assistance session still open. this session has ended and you can close it ans the respond to later offered assistance


I have tried opening up all traffic through the firewall to the director and xenapp servers as a test but the same issue occurs.


Any help is appreciated
