RDP "access denied" ONLY for domain administrator

Question

I am having a strange issue in a customer's xenapp 7.5 environment.  I get an "access denied" error whenever I use the domain administrator account to RDP to any of the three Citrix xenapp 7.5 servers.  The problem comes and goes.  Sometimes a reboot actually fixes it for a while, and the next server reboot renders this unusable again.  The odd thing is, every other account can RDP into the 3 Citrix servers at all times.  Any thoughts?  thanks.
