XenApp 7.6, Receiver 4.2, GPO Provisioning not working

Joshua Post1709152635

Question

I have 2 domains with users and computers in both.  In Domain1, I have a GPO set to enable SSO for my Storefront 2.6 site that appears to be working correctly.  It auto logs in and shows apps.

In Domain2, I copied over the same GPO from Domain1, but when I log into a server in Domain2 and open Receiver, I can see the account setup, but it doesn't show my username at the top, just "Logged in" and no apps.

Checking the registry on the server in Domain2, every entry I see is missing /discovery at the end of the Storefront URL, while checking the same registry keys on my computer in Domain1 has them.

If I change the HKCU entry in Domain2 to have /discovery at the end of the URL, then it auto logs in and works correctly, but it should be getting this from the GPO automatically.  How do I get it populating correctly?

I resolved this by removing the storefront entry in Citrix Studio | Configuration | StoreFront. I set the storefront path via GPO so the settings here were redundant (and incorrectly applied to Receiver). Once I removed the entry in studio my Receiver clients started adhering to the GPO settings.

Thank you.  This got me going the right direction.  Actually, my GPO isn't applying it all, but the missing /discovery piece was coming from Citrix Studio in the Storefront section.

I removed it at first to get the GPO going, but it still wasn't applying, so I ended up just correcting the entry in Citrix Studio and now my Citrix Server has the correct setting and is logging in automatically.
