How to preserve client host header and protocol?

I'm having trouble with a NetScaler device that is not passing over the client host header. Another issue I'm having is that SSL is terminated on NetScaler device but I would still want the information to be passed over that the client used HTTPS to access the URL. With Apache 2.x I would setup the following configuration:

ProxyPreserveHost on
RequestHeader set ClientProtocol https

How to achieve the same with NetScaler? Should I use the rewrite command?

Thanks,

Samuli

Funnily enough, your question about a header to indicate SSL was asked by one of my students yesterday!

Yes, use a rewrite policy to insert a suitable header to the incoming request.

The client host header: you haven't accidentally got a rewrite policy set up to delete the header have you?
