Workspace app for Linux

Looks like Citrix Workspace for Linux 25.05.0.44 introduced a new setting UseNewKeyboardModule=* that I cannot find documentation for. Does anyone know what this does and if there are docs for this somewhere? The reason I'm asking is I have this KeyPassthroughEscapeChar=Pause KeyPassthroughEscapeShift=Alt and this setting breaks this for some reason. Can someone confirm this is the case for them as well?

Hi, I am using Citrix for a while now, connecting from my home pc (Linux: openSuse Tumbleweed) to my PC at work (Windows 11). That worked fine no matter if I use Wayland or X11 on my linux pc. Since a few weeks (at the same time a big KDE Plase 6.4.0 update was released) I cannot use Wayland anymore and have to switch back to X11 when using Citrix. The problem is the as follows: When connecting to my Work pc both of my two monitors show the same content, namely the content of the primary screen. the mouse cursor can move freely on both monitors clicking just has an effect on the primary / left monitor -> but effects are shown on both monitors (as if they are mirrored)…

Hello, I'm trying to install Citrix Workspace app 2503 for Linux (icaclient_25.03.0.66_arm64.deb) on a Raspberry Pi 500 with the following command sudo apt install -f ./icaclient_25.03.0.66_arm64.deb (https://docs.citrix.com/en-us/citrix-workspace-app-for-linux/installation#install-using-a-debian-package). But a lot of packages is not installable or is not going to be installed because of dependencies not satisfied, here is the output of the command: Do you have any idea how to solve this problem? How to eliminate this "Citrix Workspace" "Connecting..." popup annoyance in CWAL/Citrix Workspace App for Linux? We have an automated login setup with AD pass through that launches the customer's assigned desktop automatically following successful login via an AD lock screen. It's otherwise a very "Physical Windows"-esque experience, save for this one vexxing popup. We have been experiencing drop outs of Teams calls for our Thin Client (NoTouchOS ) users for weeks. Teams calls only. No PSTN. Has anyone experienced similar or have any ideas? The drop happens when video/Audio and Desktop sharing are turned on. Randomly NoTouchOS users drop off the call. Other callers on laptops in the group call are not affected. Not all NoTouchOS callers drop when it happens. Teams for the affected users record a MediaConnectivityFailure message in the Teams logs, suggesting it's something to do with the Media Engine. Citrix Browser Content Redirection does not work with CWAL2311. Browser showes only a blank page with "Redireting ...". Revert to CWAL2309, BCR works without issues. Checked with several ubuntu OS editions. But only with CWAL2309 and lower editions, BCR works.

Running Citrix Workspace on a Raspberry Pi is no longer as easy as it used to be. Since the begin of 2023 a few regressions have broken what used to be a fantastic user experience. The last working version is 2303 (March). Anything after 2303 can connect but the video is not refreshed after the initial image is drawn. 64 bit version: a missing file (reported elsewhere in these forums) makes the connection impossible. I have a client that we have upgraded their HP ThinPro clients to the 2305 client to address some Teams and Webex issues. However, we noticed that after upgrading post 2212 the workspace app no longer times out users after x amount of inactivity. This looks like a new feature for the linux client, and they have the ability to adjust timeouts with Citrix cloud, but this is a storefront on-premise deployment. Hi, have an issue with the Linux: Linux Workspace App 23.05.0.58-1 on ELUX shows a "the x-request '130.1' causes the error: '10: BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied')" message. 'default.ica' in Storefront contains a ScreenPercent=100 line to show a Citrix window desktop (not full screen). On windows clients everything works as expected. Maybe anybody has the same error message?

First of all, good job for the ARM 64 version. Really good to run Citrix on a PI400 with Raspi 64. But there is a problem: the file PDCRYPT2.DLL is not shipped with the ARM 64 versions (deb and tar.gz). Was it simply forgotten? Could an updated version with this file be posted on the website. The other issue is that the armhf version does not work well on a Raspi 64 bit version. Screen is not refreshed after the initial repaint. I think events are still passed to the remote, but local screen is not updated. This is a fallback, the native 64 bit version would be the best solution. Thank you

I have used 2303 and 2305 with Ubuntu 23.04 under Wayland, things work, but when I click on Disconnect, the Citrix Receiver hangs. I know very well that Citrix still does not "support" Wayland (and its X11 clone), but it could probably be fixed very easily. Regards

Hi Does anybody know whether the Citrix Workspace app for Linux (trying with 2303) has the ability to inform the VDA that it wants to use the Generic USB redirection for audio? I have a CONNECT rule in the usb.conf file which automatically redirects the USB audio device identified by VID and PID. The Desktop Appliance Mode is enabled in Citrix Workspace app. The redirection actually works and I see the USB audio device in the Device Manager of the VDA machine (which is Windows Server 2022), but the category it belongs to is 'Sound, video and game controllers', not 'Audio inputs and outputs'. I am running Ubuntu 22.04. Yesterday I installed citrix (icaclient_23.3.0.32_amd64.deb). As a side effect of the installation I could not open google-chrome, vscode or the 1password app anymore. I know that 1password is an electron app and chrome is running in a chrom sandbox. I can start both google-chrome and 1password when running them from the terminal passing the --no-sandbox flag, e.g., google-chrome --no-sandbox However I can not start vscode at all. Up to now I connected with my company with citrix version 21.12.0.18 (after solving the famous SSL61 issue by downloading the certificates and copying them to ...cacerts). Now I was asked by my company to update to citrix version 23.2.0.10. Since I've upgraded, I am not able to connect to my company anymore (always the above mentioned SSL61 error). Hello, I am using Manjaro Linux. I installed Workspace app using tarball package (version 23.02). Problem is that USB support could not be installed. That is bad for me, because without USB-support I cannot use MS Teams videocalls. The problem seems to be, that during installation ctxusbd should be integrated for init-Runlevels. But Manjaro uses systemd (instead of System-V-init). Is there a way to solve this problem? (The other packages for download do not match Manjaro Linux, since it is Arch-based. I just upgraded to Workspace 22.12.0.12 on Linux, connecting to a Windows Desktop VDI. On that windows i use a vncviewer to connect to other machines, when in vnc viewer, the mouse cursor gets a black box around it. This didn't happen with the previous version i was using. Any fixes? 22.12 claims to have fixed this issue, but i didn't have an issue until this version... ???
