We got this fixed just by downloading the license file from MyCitrix and installing it to the system.

At another customer we were upgrading the SDX from 14.1-21.57 to 14.1-60.57 and the installation got totally stuck on this error:

Even if I rebooted the whole SDX platform, I ended up in this view as well as rebooting just the SVM.

I examined the "/var/mps/log/bundleupgrade.log" and saw that the "upgradebundle.pl" reads the file ”/var/mps/cb_sb_images/status.conf". We renamed this file and then rebooted the SVM, then we saw the upgrade being initialized in a loop, and then we checked the "bundleupgrade.log" again and saw that BUNDLE_VALIDATION_RESULT_FILE is present, then grepped the "upgradebundle.pl" for that string and found a reference to ”/var/mps/cb_sb_images/install/sdx_validations.result". Once we removed this one as well, we got a log in button to the upgrade URL and got back in to the system. Then we uploaded the newer lic file on to the box and got the installation running.

I would expect better from Citrix on this as the LAS change is enforced by them, not something the customers requested.

LAS on Netscaler without Netscaler Console

Hello everyone,

We are currently using fixed licenses as subscriptions on our Netscalers, which we purchased in 2025.
