How many times have you had an ISV come into your shop pushing their new solution, and you ask them if it works with Citrix?
How many times did you get a blank stare or a reply stating that they don't know because they don't have a Citrix lab environment or that it's too hard to setup.
We'll now there's no excuse. MyCitrixLab is now up and running and available to ISV vendors to use to verify that their application works with XenApp, Citrix Access Essentials and XenServer. MyCitrixLab is an online virtual lab environment available to all Citrix ecosystem partners, and becoming a Citrix Alliance partner at the Citrix Technology Member level is free.
More details on the MyCitrixLab configurations can be found at http://community.citrix.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=29851667 All the ISV needs to do is schedule lab time and make sure they have the basics covered by following the Citrix Ready test scipts before they approach you with their pitch.
So the next time an new ISV partner comes knocking and they state they don't know if their app is compatible with Citrix, or that setting up a Citrix environment is too hard, give them 3 quick pieces of advice:
- Sign up for free as a Citrix Alliance Partner from the partner section on citrix.com at http://www.citrix.com/English/partners/programs/thirdlevel.asp?programID=1681660&tlID=23443
- Have them verify their solution using http://MyCitrixLab.com which is free to Citrix Alliance partners
- Become Citrix Ready
Then they can come back and explain why their solution is a good fit with your Citrix deployment. Why should you need to do the basic compatibility testing for them?

I can't even count the number of times that an application vendor has expected our company to test (and document in some cases) their application in our environment. I hope other vendors follow suit and extend testing to companies that may not have the funding or desire to undertake full scale application certification programs

Here's my situation. I am a developer of a product (written in Delphi) that we would like to become Citrix compatible. One of our customers, has tried our product with Citrix (Presentation Server) and could not get it to work. Since I am new to Citrix and my company doesn't have a Citrix environment, It would be great if I could not only test our product for Citrix, but can also be able to figure out how to modify our software so that it will work with Citrix. Since I have never used any Citrix products, I don't know who to go about this. Any help in getting started would be appreciated. Thanks.

First step is to become a Citrix Alliance Technology Member at the link above (just updated it, being it appeard to be incorrect in the original post.
Once you been accepted to this, it may take a few days to get you company's domain on the list for use of MyCitrixLab. Once your company's domain is on the list you can register for use of the lab at http://mycitrixlab.com.
There is more data on the lab at:
http://community.citrix.com/pages/viewpage.action?pageId=29851667
http://www.citrix.com/lang/English/lp/lp_1680793.asp
We recently did a Webinar to our Alliance partners on this as well wich we will post soon. Once you have registered for the lab, you get the URL to the actual lab environment which has a Sharepoint portal with a lot of other info on use of the labs as well. There are "Assist Guides" that are posted on the lab protal that walk an ISV vendor through Citrix Ready testing in the lab that you'll find very useful, especially if you are nto familiar with Citrix XenApp.
Hopefully this gets you going.

We did before members as you mentioned, but when I try to enter my name and email address at the link you mentioned, I get the message, "Your email address is not in the list of accepted domain names! Use an approved email address or contact the demo provider for assistance." I sent an email to 'CitrixReady@citrix.com' but got no response. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
