| | |
| | * The history of Doug's company begins in January of 1999 when Doug Brown brought the first [DABCC.com | http://www.dabcc.com] site on line. The original goal was to provide a site for his friends where they could go to find answers to their technical questions. Over the next five years DABCC.com grew into the reference site for the entire Citrix community. However, Doug was not content with just adding content. He recognized that many of the smaller companies had problems in managing the deployment of a Citrix based network and started writing what was to become "Methodology In A Box". Originally intended to be just a guide, MIAB turned into a 450 page manual. Today, it has gone through two major updates, numerous revisions and is one the most successful "How To" manuals in the Citrix Community with over 200,000 downloads. In fact MIAB was voted the best Citrix related document by in 2002 by Windows NT Magazine. |

| | * Kirk has over 25 years in the computer industry, starting as a systems analyst for an IT department. While working for Data General throughout the 1980s, he taught UNIX driver development and UNIX performance tuning. Kirk joined Hewlett-Packard (Compaq) in the earlier 1990's and helped customers running SCO UNIX with performance tuning and UNIX administration. He got involved in HP's (Compaq's) SCO UNIX driver development, creating several tools to test different driver components. In the mid-1990's Kirk managed a team of engineers that was focused on developing solutions utilizing Linux and HP ProLiant servers. His team worked with companies like Novell (SuSE) and Red Hat to develop customer-facing solutions using Sendmail and Apache. In the early part of 2000, he moved back into engineering to focus on Linux. Becoming involved with a small company called XenSource in 2005, Kirk has specialized in the virtualization field for HP, and now works with both open-source Xen within the Linux distributions and Citrix XenServer. |

| | * Robert Morris currently provides training and consulting services worldwide, for all sizes of virtualization solutions. He left Microsoft in 1994 for Advantec Global Services, Inc (AGSI)\- where he remains today as an instructor and Lead Consultant/Architect. Robert began working with multi-user operating systems in the Unix world, then OS/2 and eventually NT 3.1 - which at the time had to be loaded from 30 floppy disks and did not support SCSI. The first Citrix project for Robert included Winview and Digi-boards loaded with modem pools. He has implemented virtually every product made by Citrix - even MSAM. He began working with virtualization projects during the days of DEC VMS, and found it a natural evolution to begin working with VMWare workstation in the 90s. Combining knowledge of OS virtualization, along with application virtualization and delivery has allowed Robert to help grow the AGSI practice along with the evolution of virtualization in the client-server computing model. |
| | Robert holds many certifications, and is the first person in the world to hold the combination of CTP, CCI, and CCEE designations. He is also proud of holding a commercial pilot's license from the FAA. He began flying in late 2005, and has attained ground and flight instructor status for single and multi-engine planes as well as instrument instructor. He currently flies his own Cessna Turbo Super Skymaster to some of his engagements in the US. |
