Feeling a bit creative lately?

When you are using XenClient to run multiple virtual desktops - for work or personal use - you get more done.  Opportunities open up and creativity flows.

Here is your chance to share your interesting tips and tricks about how you have used XenClient or what XenClient means to you in terms of helping you accomplish things. Unleash your creativity and share your positive XenClient experiences with the whole world.

Create a short video that creatively features your thoughts, ideas or experiences with Citrix XenClient. Share with the audience how Citrix XenClient has added value to your work or play. Make your video informative, but make it fun and be creative as well!

The video contest topic is ?Get Xtreme ? Creative Ways to Use XenClient?. Video submitted must include one or more of the following themes:

? Tips and tricks - Illustrate most ingenious ways of using XenClient

? A Day In the Life? - Cover use of XenClient in performing key daily work tasks as Road Warriors, IT Pros, or Home office employees, etc. 

? New Creative Solution - Provide new ideas on how to use XenClient

? ?Better Together? solution - Show XenClient + Intel vPro together in an unique usage scenario

Post your video to YouTube and send the details of your video and contact information via the online form (see Submission Form tab).

Promote it to as many people as you can. Your audience will contribute to your success and the eventual prize giveaway. Don?t forget that your video will be available for all visitors to see at Citrix.com.

SELECTION OF FINALISTS AND WINNERS

Ten (10) finalists will be chosen based on the following criteria:

?    The most number of user views by the YouTube/Citrix TV channel community for the video

?    The most number of ?Likes? by the YouTube/Citrix TV channel community for the video

?    The most number of positive reviews/comments by the YouTube/CitrixTV community for the video

The four (4) winning entries will be chosen by a Committee designated by Citrix and Intel. 

Each of the finalist videos will be judged for overall creativity, professionalism, and quality of video as deemed by the Committee.

The decision by the Committee will be final. 

The Grand Prize will be one (1) Ultrabook and the three (3) runner-ups will each receive one (1) new laptop! The most creative and best video entrant will win the Ultrabook and three other winning entrants selected by the Committee will win one laptop powered by Intel vPro Technology + XenClient 2, courtesy of Intel Corporation and Citrix.

This video contest is valid from Feb 22, 2012 ? April 7, 2012. The winning entries will be chosen and announced at www.citrix.com/xenclient on May 2, 2012. Videos from the finalists will also be showcased at Citrix Synergy San Francisco in May 2012.

Run XenClient software on your laptop and create your story around it for your video submission. Check system specifications and list of supported systems.

Use the online submission form (see Submission Form tab) to send us your details and the video link for us to add the video link to the Citrix TV channel?s playlist. We will be using account information to contact the winners.

Promote your videos with social media tools: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Blog, etc.

Citrix Systems, Inc. (Citrix) is sponsoring the ?Get Xtreme ? Creative Ways to Use Citrix XenClient Video Contest?.

ELIGIBILITY
This Contest is open to the public. By submitting a video promoting the personal use of Citrix XenClient, Contestants acknowledge that their entry may be shown on Citrix TV and any other media selected by Citrix at Citrix's discretion. Entries must be submitted by an individual who is at least 18 years of age. Void where prohibited.

AWARDS and CRITERIA
Winners of awards will be named and promoted via Citrix?s web site(s).  Finalists and winners will be chosen based on the criteria described in the Get Xtreme ? Creative Ways to Use Citrix XenClient Video Contest overview document.

HOW TO ENTER
Contestants must upload their videos to YouTube. Submit your personal information and link to your video with the provided online form. By submitting your entry, you affirm your understanding and acceptance of these Official Rules. All videos must be in English. The contest period starts on February 22, 2012 and ends on April 7, 2012. There is no limit to the number of entries submitted per Contestant.  Each video should be no longer than three (3) minutes in length. Videos must comply with technical requirement specified in this document. Any subsequent entries submitted after the deadline will not be considered.

Entries will not be eligible to become finalists if ANY PERSON USES A PROXY TO CREATE USER VIEWS ON THE YouTube/CitrixTV channel, TO CREATE ?LIKES? for the entry, OR TO CREATE THE most number of positive reviews/comments FOR THE ENTRY.  This includes but is not limited to creating multiple or dummy emails. No one may purchase vIEWS, LIKES OR POSITIVE REVIEWS/COMMENTS FOR THE ENTRIES. The use of automated or third party software or web siteS to CREATE vIEWS, LIKES OR POSITIVE REVIEWS/COMMENTS FOR THE ENTRIES is prohibited. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any vIEWS, LIKES OR POSITIVE REVIEWS/COMMENTS FOR THE ENTRIES cast in violation of the above restrictions.  liMIT OF 10 vIEWS, LIKES OR POSITIVE REVIEWS/COMMENTS FOR THE ENTRIES PER PERSON PER DAY.

Play fair. Sponsor reserves the right to prohibit any entrant or voter from participating in the Contest (and to invalidate any vIEWS, LIKES OR POSITIVE REVIEWS/COMMENTS) if, at ITS sole discretion, Sponsor findS such entrant to be tampering with the entry process, FINALIST QUALIFICATION process or the operation of the Contest; or if such entrant shows a disregard for, or attempts to circumvent, these Official Rules; or if such entrant threatens the integrity of the Contest by posting or otherwise disseminating material on Twitter, Facebook, or any other social network that is offensive, vulgar, obscene, or defames anyone or any entity; or if such entrant acts: (i) in a manner Sponsor determineS to be not fair or equitable; (ii) with an intent to annoy, threaten or harass any other entrant or Sponsor; or (iii) in any other disruptive manner.

CONDITIONS OF PRIZE AWARD
The winning Contestants will be notified by e-mail that their video has been selected and will be published at CitrixTV.com.  Failure to comply with any term or condition in these Official Rules may result in prize forfeiture, in whole or in part, and selection of an alternate potential winner.

COPYRIGHT AND PUBLICATION
All intellectual property rights in video entries become the property of Citrix. Citrix will not return any entries. By submitting a Contest entry, a Contestant:
(a) assigns and will assign to Citrix all copyrights and moral rights in and to the entry arising under statute and common law, and all other rights derivative therefrom,
(b) grants to Citrix and Intel permission to publish, perform, copy, and disseminate all or part of the Contest entry; and
(c) grants to Citrix and Intel permission to use the Contestant?s name for advertising or promotional purposes without any royalty, compensation or other consideration to Contestant, except where prohibited by law. Contestant agrees that e-mail shall satisfy any writing requirement which may apply to intellectual property waivers, transfers, and licenses.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. Void where prohibited or restricted. Participation in the Contest constitutes Contestant?s full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of these Official Rules.

Citrix and Intel are not responsible for lost, late, stolen, delayed, damaged incomplete, illegible, misdirected, or unreceived uploads; for failed, partial, or garbled computer transmissions; for technical failures of any kind related to the upload Web site or the administration of the contest; or for any technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, access providers, computer equipment, or software. Citrix and Intel reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest, if fraud, technical failures, viruses or bugs, beyond the reasonable control of Citrix or Intel, corrupt, impair or destroy the administration, security, fairness or integrity of the contest as determined by Citrix in its sole discretion without liability to any Contestant. Entries are subject to verification and will be declared invalid if they are illegible, forged, falsified, altered or tampered with in any way or if they violate any provision of these Official Rules.
