Introducing RepairCBDChain a Citrix Tool written by Dmitry Vostokov,
a tool that immediately restores clipboard functionality on the client and server.

Have you ever had a problem where the cut and paste clipboard functionality would not work in a ICA session? I know, silly question, of course you have. I would like to introduce you to a tool I use whenever the clipboard functionality stops working. This tool was written by Dmitry Vostokov a Citrix employee in EMEA. I had the pleasure of meeting him while I was over in Dublin, Ireland visiting the Citrix office there. He is an amazing individual with many accomplishments, you should seriously check out his site, Crash Dump Analysis. http://www.dumpanalysis.org/, I'm willing to bet that you will be as awed as I was.

I've used RepairCBDChain myself too but the registry change specified in CTX112434 You Cannot Copy Content From a Client Device and Paste it in a Published Application also seems to be working well for me now:

For version 10.x and later of the 32- or 64-bit Presentation Server Client:

WARNING! Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that may require you to reinstall your operating system. Citrix cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.

1. Open the Registry Editor.

2. Under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix\ICA Client\Engine\Configuration\Advanced\Modules\WFClient, add the following String (REG_SZ) value:

CbChainInterval=<value>

Where <value> is the interval, in milliseconds, at which checks are performed. Supported values range from 0 to 2000, inclusive.

Note: The detection takes at least twice the amount of time specified in this setting.

3. Save your changes and restart the Presentation Server Client.

WOW, now that is a great tip, thanks Jennifer
I will try that and see how it goes, and will let you know what number works for me
As I usually open and close so many windows locally, I bet the client is having a hard time
trying figure out which one to attach to
