Introduction
Application Streaming stores file execution targets in its shared cache which is usually located in \Program Files\Citrix\RadeCache. Each subdirectory is an execution Target for a profile. The directory holds only the target and contains no link back to the profile from which it came.
This missing information is decoded by this utility by inspecting Deploy content. In normal execution, the utility also attempts to write Desktop.INI entry and set the folder to read-only attribute so that the Windows Explorer will display the friendly name in addition to the GUID. This is a persistent change and can be disabled via the -r (readonly) execution switch.
Limitations:
- Can decode only GUIDs which are backed up by Deployed/Offline content.
- Directory listing rights are required for RadeDeploy subdirectories.
- Write/Create rights are required unless the -r switch is used.
Note: Users usually lack these required rights (run with admin rights).
Syntax: RadeRegDecode (-switches)
Switches:
