Citrix Receiver for BlackBerry
Citrix Receiver for BlackBerry 1.0 is now available for download on your Blackberry here. This is a major milestone in providing connectivity to enterprise applications from anywhere on one of the most widely deployed mobile devices in enterprise organizations. Citrix Receiver enables your users to access PC applications published on a XenApp server from their BlackBerry devices. You publish applications on a XenApp server to make them available to your users. Using Doc Finder through Citrix Receiver, your users can also securely browse and access files stored on the server. Below is a Guided Tour of Citrix Receiver for Blackberry.
Citrix Receiver requires BlackBerry software 4.6 or higher and 128 MB of device memory. The app is compatible with both touch and non-touch devices.
Supported BlackBerry models are:
• Storm2 9550 and 9520
• Bold 9700, 9650, and 9000
• Tour 9630

What is the hold up on the blackberry app, its been months and the patience is thinning. At the very least some answers as to what the hold up has been would be a pleasant surprise instead of only being ignored. Please someone from Citrix respond to these questions.

All of these questions are just being ignored! Just a date or explanation as to what the hold-up is. I have a large company asking questions as to when this is going to be publicly available, or is there even a beta out there?

First of all, let me assure you that Receiver for BlackBerry is not dead. We are not turning our back on the platform that owns half the mobile market and are moving forward with development.
We fielded a controlled beta program with a limited number of testers and based on the feedback we received, decided to make a number of changes to improve usability. Of course, this takes time, but the new design is now circulating internally and finishing touches are being added.
I can't give any dates on a release, but in case you didn't know, our Synergy show is in May.

There is a whole sector for choosing thin over web for comming new build app delivery, in addition to existing scale and scroll apps.

I've try to testing for this client. I can download and install it well.
I can create an account. I'm sure that I've fill in all information correctly but
there's pop-up a message like "Mobile data services and network connection must be turn on."
Does I miss something? Or I need to more configure on my BB?
I use BB Curve 8520.

We're looking forward to version 1.1 with ica-encryption capability, because most of our XenApp published apps are using 128 bit encryption and I don't want to fall back to basic.
