Citrix XenApp and XenDesktop have support for multiple monitors. But there are scenarios in which even that capability can be made to be even more flexable. This is where Virtual Display Manager, VDM, from teknica software comes in.
Virtual Display Manager supplements your existing single or multi-monitor system with the convenience of additional virtual displays that can subdivide existing physical screens, while using existing hardware along with the ability of invoking different monitor configurations at the click of a button.

Virtual Display Manager is applicable to XenApp and XenDesktop, in that you can enhance your experience from either side. You could use locally to place XenApp or XenDesktops into a virtual monitor, and neither would know that they were running in one. You could also run it in your XenApp or XenDesktop session, and gain the ability to further enhance the multi monitor experience. You could additionally run it on both, for some very creative display management. But I really think one might need to think of it like this, Imagine you were at the office with Dual monitors, and you disconnected from your session and went home. When doing power point presentation recordings on my laptop, I can run it in presentation mode, and record the output while being able to see my notes at the same time
