Routers verify availability of the next hop to deactivate it. Not a good choice for in-cloud availability. The Elfiq constantly monitors all links in the cloud to verify availability by polling deep into the Internet. WAN Link Load Balancing (WLLB) keeps real time metrics such as round trip response time (RTT) and bandwidth usage on each link. Those metrics are used for algorithm decision making and to verify logical routing errors on the ISP network. WLLB support supports many links in parallel.
