Description

ProcWatch takes in a single process name and compares this value to the list of currently-running processes. If there is a match, ProcWatch passes. If there is no match, which indicates that the specified process is not currently running on the local machine, the test fails.

How to Use ProWatch

  1. On the server to be checked, open a command prompt.
  2. Navigate to the directory containing ProcWatch.cmd and type:

    \>cmd.exe /C ProcWatch.cmd <processname.exe>

Important: You must append the .exe extension to any process name for which you are searching.

A successful run displays:

Procwatch.cmd: <processname.exe> was found

An unsuccessful run displays:

Procwatch.cmd failed to find <processname.exe>
