Citrix® Web Interface JSR168 Portlet Interface for Oracle® Application Server Portal

Overview

Numerous Citrix customers rely on Web Interface for MetaFrame Presentation Server to gain access to various enterprise applications. Likewise, many Oracle customers utilize Oracle Application Server Portal to logically organize a user's information and services into a portal framework. Previously, Citrix and Oracle customers have implemented a separate Citrix Web Interface site to allow access to mostly non web enabled applications while they also implemented the Oracle Application Server Portal to allow access to the user's information and web enabled enterprise applications. Now, these organizations are seeking standards based integration between their two separate interfaces into a single point of access for their users.

To be able to integrate MetaFrame Presentation Server access with the OracleAS Portal will require the creation of a Web Interface JSR168 Portlet for OracleAS Portal.
