Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server Portlet for the IBM WebSphere Portal v5
Overview
Citrix has released an upgraded portlet providing integration with IBM WebSphere Portal v5, giving joint customers seamless and secure access to IBM WebSphere portal resources and applications delivered through Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server 3.0. Now, IBM WebSphere Portal customers will have secure, single point access to web applications, content and resources, as well as other Windows, IBM AIX, custom or commercially packaged applications accessed through their Citrix MetaFrame Presentation Server deployments without the need for any application re-writes.
The latest version of the portlet incorporates new features including the ability to run applications embedded in the portal window. The portlet also features multiple authentication modes including built-in single sign-on (SSO), which increases resource and application security, and simplifies password management - key priorities for enterprise customers.
The portlet, designed by Citrix Consulting, the services arm of Citrix, is available for enterprise deployment projects. You may need your myCitrix credentials. I know it is a bit confusing that this version is called 1.0.1 but the design is new compared to the previous version, it can be used, if needed, without an additional Web Interface server (integraded mode).
