    Good Day,

I am a citrix metaframe end user. I am a developer and I need to access some Oracle tables but I do not know where to place the Oracle tns ora files in the MOP environment.

On my office computer (not MOP), I normally place some tns ora files in my application data folder on my local machine and I am able to use the ip address, database name etc from this. I normally use the MSORA odbc system dsn to connect and this works fine.

Now, when I log on to the Citrix environment, I tried placing the same TNS ora files in the same folder but it does not work. Can you tell me where can I place these files so I am able to use the database name and ip addresses? Thanks.

      Hi Dexter
I will try and find the answer for you. Did you know we have Developer forums on the site where this question would be more relevant? Try to post the question on developer forums too.

Hi,http://community.citrix.com/display/cdn/Virtual+Channel+SDK+2.3I have the virtual channel sdk from the above link and seems like Citrix virtual channel sdk is not updated since 2003. Is this the latest or do I need to refer to any alternative link. Please let me know. Also, we need 64bit version of the virtual channel sdk to support our citrix virtual channels components on 64bit Vista/XP. This seems to contain just the 32bit version. Please let me know if 64bit version is available and where can I obtain the same.

    Thanks.

    Hi Vishal,

Can you confirm that the latest virtual channel SDK version (10.0) is for w32 application only, that's what the link you sent seems to indicate?

If it is the case what are the option to integrate on a 64 bit environment

    Thanks
