The information-packed days of Citrix Synergy 2009 are over and what an event it was! More than 3000 people gathered to examine the future of virtualization, networking, and application delivery technologies designed to help companies maximize constrained IT spending. As a follow up to Synergy 2009, Alliance Technologies is hosting Geek Speak Local in Iowa City to provide facilitated learning from thought leaders and tech experts, including Matt Lesak, Daniel Feller, Jason Conger, and Michael Keen.

Once again, this open forum event will give the audience the chance to run the show and will include discussions and input from experts in the delivery infrastructure community.

Here's the speaker line-up:

  • Dan Feller kicking off the event with "VDI Design Considerations"
  • Matt Lesak leading a demo session on how to build a successful VDI solution using XenDesktop and XenServer
  • Jason Conger delivering a follow-on to his "Workflow Studio Orchestration" session at the Geek Speakeasy at Synergy 09
  • Michael Thomason delivering a follow-on to his 2008 BriForum session on "Provisioning Services in the Real World"
  • Michael Keen on "Using the Citrix Delivery Center to Enhance Your Enterprise Architecture"

About Citrix Synergy 2009

Where virtualization, networking, and application delivery meet!
Born as a user conference more than 10 years ago, Citrix Synergy has been completely re-conceived as the industry's premier thought leadership event where virtualization, networking, and application delivery meet.

Citrix Synergy combines four events into one, including Citrix iForum, Geek Speak Live!, Virtualization Congress, and Network World Live. Attendees benefit by attending a single track, or by combining sessions from various tracks to custom-build a conference to suit their individual needs. With all of the information presented over three days at Synergy, attendees walked away, armed with ideas and solutions to help address their most pressing IT issues, lower costs, and deliver more business value to their organization.
