The agent uses a defined logical search order to determine which synchronization point it should use. There are numerous places from which the agent attempts to locate a synchronization point (e.g. HKLM, MMF etc.) This process differs slightly between servers with XenApp installed and those without. The diagrams below outline how the agent locates a synchronization point and how it accepts a synchronization point for use.
