This section describes how Citrix product architectures fit into the broader concept of application delivery infrastructure. The Citrix application delivery infrastructure consists of components that are located in the datacenter, at the front-end, at the perimeter, at the branch, and at the endpoint. Many of these components are separate products and, while they can operate separately, they often provide more value when used in conjunction. It is important to note that this architecture is evolving, with some of the links between components still requiring further development.

Individual product architectures are currently available for XenServer, Provisioning Server, NetScaler, XenApp, Access Gateway, WANScaler& EdgeSight.
