Anil Madhavapeddy is a Senior Architect in the Virtualization and Management Division at Citrix. He primarily works on the XenServer product line. Previously, he was a member of the University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory, where he received his PhD in creating high-performance, secure systems software using high-level languages. Anil has contributed to many open-source projects, primarily as a long-time developer of the secure OpenBSD operating system. He has worked in industry at Network Appliance on creating scalable Internet content delivery systems, and at NASA on the Mars rover projects and various London-based consultancies.  His personal web-site and blog is available at http://anil.recoil.org/ .
